Is America Yielding the returns you’d like?

Saturday I had a conversation with my librarian friend. We discussed my future moves. (I’ll be graduating soon.) My librarian friend asked me what do I intend to do once I’m done here. I told him I’m going immediately to graduate school. I told him that I want to knock out all of my schooling before truly entering the workforce. He asked me once I’m done where I intend to live. I told him that I intend to leave the country and go to Brazil. He recommended that I try my luck remaining in America first before deciding to try my hand in another country. I told him that I only do things beneficial to me. I also told him that we all know that America is filled with covert racism in many different forms. I told him about how a black person can try to go to an establishment and get turned away, or screened thoroughly while his white counterpart will easily get accepted. We agreed that this is institutionalized covert racism. My friend told me about him teaching classes from time to time, and…

Rule Number 1

I’m in a little game dropping mood right now. :-D

Rule Number 1 is don’t listen to women. Women generally give the worst advice when it comes to dating. Women will tell you such and such and turn around and do the exact opposite of what they said. I remember once reading a post by a cat that I respect that had a woman try to advise him. She told him such and such about her ex, so he asked her why she wasn’t still with her ex. She told him, “I don’t know.” :-D  This why I say that the moment a guy starts taking advice from women he’s TRULY lost.

Now that I’ve established Rule Number 1 I’m going to overlap myself. The saying is don’t listen to women (for the aforementioned reasons), however truthfully you have to listen to women if you want to streamline your learning process. (Completely not listening to women will cause you to learn everything the slow and hard way.) The key is to only listen to the right women (and they’re few and far in between). There are many ways to learn women wit…

Father's Advice #2: Doing Homework, holding frame, saying no, and walking away

I am going to share another one of my father's advice that has served me well since I was in high school. It was after my dad took me with him to buy a new car when I was ten. I don’t remember all the details, but I think the advice still holds true today. Most of the older people in this sub know this, but for many of the people younger than high school age who never had to buy a car, car salesmen are very slimy, but they use some very basic tricks to make sure the deal is in their favor. Some of them include hand-offs, bluffing that "the computer tells me that it is worth this much", "let me talk to my boss," etc. This was about to be my first of several lessons I got out of this unforgettable car buying experience.

Lesson 1. Do your homework.

After my dad and I had walked around and looked at the cars. The salesman, let's call him Nick, then came to my dad with a sheet of papers with a few "deals" and "packages" he could offer my dad …

Stupidity Within Businesses Nowadays

I’m a graduate student, and in my 1st class, I learned that leaders never show weakness to their subordinates (The Longview: Lasting Strategies for Rising Leaders p. 64). However, businesses are taking not showing weakness to subordinates to the extreme, to the point of neglecting to use intelligence in their decision-making. I quit a job back in October because I got fed up with their nonsense. When I got hired the lead human resources guy told us that he’d do what he could to resolve issues to retain personnel; once we got hired the company forgot all about doing what it could to retain personnel and simply considered us disposable. Organizations consist of people carrying out processes at proficient levels; if an organization lacks this, then this organization is slowly heading towards closing. A lot of organizations are losing money by the boatloads, but their leaders won’t put aside their petty pride to even consider the notion that perhaps they may be doing something wrong. The …

George Soros funds Ferguson protests, hopes to spur civil action

Liberal billionaire gave at least $33 million in one year to groups that emboldened activists

There’s a solitary man at the financial center of the Ferguson protest movement. No, it’s not victim Michael Brown or Officer Darren Wilson. It’s not even the Rev. Al Sharpton, despite his ubiquitous campaign on TV and the streets.

Rather, it’s liberal billionaire George Soros, who has built a business empire that dominates across the ocean in Europe while forging a political machine powered by nonprofit foundations that impacts American politics and policy, not unlike what he did with

Mr. Soros spurred the Ferguson protest movement through years of funding and mobilizing groups across the U.S., according to interviews with key players and financial records reviewed by The Washington Times.

In all, Mr. Soros gave at least $33 million in one year to support already-established groups that emboldened the grass-roots, on-the-ground activists in Ferguson, according to the most recent tax …

Why Major Labels have to be DESTROYED

Within the past decade or two, We’ve heard artists spill their feelings about horror stories in dealing with Major Labels, We’ve heard stories about how a lot of these Major labels still profit off artists and license their music through commercials, video games, Movies, all while leaving the architects of the art-form either dead or penniless. Major labels have often forced acts to sell out to appeal to those demographics who are deaf, dumb, and blind, They're forced to compromise their integrity in order to generate income to support their families and it seems that the egregious business practices alongside with the “Its Business as Usual” mentality will never die.
Gone are the days of high budgets, Gone are the days of B-list artists pushing Gold, Gone are the days of doing monster first week numbers while the corporate pigs do nothing but sit back and celebrate eating fried pig guts and drinking Alize while enslaving their artists to another deal, The reality is for better or …

Mining For Information

There’s an art to knowing when to speak and when to let the person you’re engaging with have the floor. The problem with many people is they don’t know how to shut up. This is particularly the case for guys when they are trying to get a new chick. You have to understand, most females are bombarded with advances every day from many different guys, and most of these guys are hell bent on trying to explain why they are the better choice, failing to realize she’s heard it all before. She already has so much going on that many things you say go in one ear and out the other because once she leaves your presence, another distraction is going to come her way. She’s like a balloon already filled to the max with air, when you try to blow more air into it, what do you think is going to happen? It’s going to burst. Meaning that everything you said as well as what everyone else said is going to get jumbled together, and she won’t be able to differentiate you from the others. That’s why you hear ma…

What's Behind the Tragic Slaying of Dr. Martin Luther King's Mother?

Many are aware of the U.S. Government-directed conspiracy to assassinate Martin Luther King Jr. The James Earl Ray lone-nut killer narrative has been thoroughly rebutted; most notably in the 1999 wrongful death lawsuit brought by the King family against Loyd Jowers. In their verdict, the jury found that “governmental agencies were party to the conspiracy” to murder MLK Jr. Less known is that his mother likely suffered a similar violent fate at the hands of a MKULTRA mind-controlled assassin.

Alberta King was shot and killed on June 30, 1974 by 23 year-old Marcus Wayne Chenault as she sat at the organ of the Ebenezer Baptist Church during a Sunday service. He wounded three people, two of them —Mrs. King and Deacon Edward Boykin, 69—fatally. According to the New York Times, Chenault “told the police that his mission was to kill the Rev. Martin Luther King Sr., but he shot Mrs. King instead because she was close to him”.

Interestingly, Alberta King’s life was taken only a few months before…
