How White Supremacists Try To Use Shaming Tactics Against Cosby Defenders

Phylicia Rashād has recently commented for the first time about recent allegations of sexual assault made against her former TV husband, Bill Cosby.
“What you’re seeing is the destruction of a legacy. And I think it’s orchestrated. I don’t know why or who’s doing it, but it’s the legacy. And it’s a legacy that is so important to the culture.” Rashād later added that she thinks someone is trying to “keep Bill Cosby off TV.”
Rashād was also deliberately misquoted in the interview as it was reported she said “forget these women”. Suspected white supremacists CNN host Piers Morgan recent condemned Rashād for her perceived criticism of the Cosby accusers. “The trashing of these women now by people, like this lady, who was his on-screen wife, I find it pretty reprehensible,” Morgan remarked. “She’s entitled to [defend him] and I’m entitled to find that reprehensible.”
The attorney representing several of the Cosby accusers, Gloria Allred even chimed in with Rashād in a recent press conference. “Phylicia, I vow to you that I will not forget these women, because women matter,” she said. “They deserve respect and dignity. Phylicia, you should be supporting these women.”
Other Melanoid entertainers like Whoopi Goldberg and Cosby Show co-star Keshia Knight Pulliam, and others have defended or supported Cosby and the credence of a person being innocent before proven guilty.
But now, any Black person ( because it seems that none of Cosby’s white “friends” or colleagues have publicly supported or defended him) who supports justice, which is being innocent before proven guilty, is accused of being a “rape supporter” or “rape apologist”.
These shaming tactics are orchestrated by the white supremacists and whenever Black reporters, writers or bloggers use this type of language, they are usually co-opted by the white supremacists or they are trying to gain favor with the white supremacists.
It is 100% justifiable to question the motives of all these random white women (and a few token Black females accusers sprinkled in so it won’t look like the racial attack that it is) who are coming out of the shadows accusing a Black male entertainer of rape after 20,30 and 40 years without any proof whatsoever.
This country has had a long history of white women making false rape claims against Black men. So it’s not a stretch of the imagination to believe that some white women will still make these false rape allegations against a Black male because it is understood that they are more likely to be believed even if the accusations are false.
People try to pretend that these Cosby rape accusers have no reason to come out with these accusations if they were not true, but that narrative is completely false. When you look at all these random white women making these allegedly false allegations, what do they have to lose? If it is proven that all of them are lying, what is going to happen to them? Nothing.
Even the accusers who are former “actresses” and “models” have nothing to lose by making false accusations (and many of these women are known for making false accusations in the past by the way) at this point in their careers.
So if a person has nothing to lose, by definition they have everything to gain. –Melanoid Nation Poster, January 9, 2015
