Media Manipulation

I want to talk about various instances of media manipulation. While on LinkedIn, I recall seeing articles talk about the economic progress that is taking place in America. Now, from my previous articles, we know that the exact opposite is occurring. Another example of media manipulation is things related to the Kardashians. Most Black people don’t observe the daily happenings of the Kardashians. Whenever Kim wears a Black hair doo--which the media will rename something else, i.e., calling cornrows boxer braids, we don’t notice until an article pops up about Black people allegedly upset about it. These articles will pop up and tell us how we feel about specific topics and then sheeple will get in line and invoke that feeling. The same media manipulation attempts to transpire when a Black spokesperson gets on camera and states his/her opinions on relevant topics. Often, the person speaking is reading from a pre-approved script and is voicing what White supremacist suspects want him/her to say. So, the spokesperson will talk around the issue and lightly touch the subject but will always ensure to do so in a “politically” correct way. Nonetheless, the lame-stream media will take this person’s opinion and project it to be Melanese people’s opinion. This intentionally inaccurate projection of our opinion puts many Black people in an endless loop. They’re constantly going in circles addressing one inaccurate fallacy after another. The solution to this is to quit allowing the lame-stream media to control the flow of the discussion. Don’t argue their talking points. If it doesn’t come from us or address how we feel, discount it and create our own argument and make that the subject at hand. Only address matters that we place on the table. Disregard all other matters that we haven’t placed on the table. Create the subject-matter to be discussed and discount all things veering away from that. When people attempt to veer into another topic, bring the subject-matter back to the topic at hand without even giving credence to the newly offered subject-matter. This will allow us to create proactive messages and have proactive dialogues because we’re creating subject-matter that we deem important rather than reacting to what we’re being told that we deem important. Furthermore, if we create our own dialogues, then we’ll be able to create deeper discussions that give rise to long-lasting solutions. Finally, when doing this, it’s important to know that we don’t need a White person’s “okay” to create our own subject-matters. Proactive messages from us will never receive national spotlight. However, this works out for us too because one shouldn’t want outsiders sitting in on an insiders’ conversation.
