Too Many Knife Stabs in the Back
I really avoid topics that could delve into gender-warring as much as possible. However, this post from Jemele Hill is completely unacceptable. Now, although, she shared the post, it is giving accolades to someone completely maligned against Black men. Furthermore, she cosigns his utter nonsense after her coworkers—some of whom are Black men--refused to go to work after she was blackballed. Time and time again we’re seeing betrayal after betrayal from Black women.
Right now, the Black community is in utter disarray. Furthermore, the leaders of the community are Black women—rather they want to be or not. On top of this, the number of single-parent homes is over 70% in the Black community. Finally, the number of single women is close to 80%. To “remedy” this, there have been many quasi-discussions and utter pointless discussions to talk about things that can be done to rejoin the union. People go into our history and different reasons for the breakup, but by the end, nothing is resolved. These so-called discussions typically devolve into vent sessions with the women venting against the men. The men usually chosen for these mental circle-jerks are typically incoherent. They probably do these sessions because—behind-the-scenes—they’re given a check for being females’ verbal punching bag for a day. However, once these sessions are done, everything goes back to normal—which for Black people—normal is the Twilight Zone. These White supremacists that mascaraed as MRAs (Men Rights Activists) and MGTOWs (Men Going Their Own Way) even acknowledged that the creators of MGTOW are Black men. Now, this isn’t some lie to inflate Black men’s ego like today’s White feminists’ do with Black women. Black women didn’t create the Feminist Movement during the 1960s, White women did. However, MGTOW was originally created by Black men. It began in the early 2000s circa 2003.
I provided an old video from Tariq Nasheed’s old show Mack Lessons Radio.
During this time, although Black men were MGTOW en masse, the movement still didn’t have a name. It just had a behavior pattern. However, things have progressed immensely since then as we see today. Aside from the undesirable behavior described in the video, the number one factor is the constant mainstream betrayals. Years ago, a major mainstream betrayal that had a Black face thrown on it was “Are You Ok, Sis? ” street harassment. This was later used to try further to criminalize Black men. Below is the video where Tariq warned how it would be used to further criminalize Black men—which it did.
Now, Very Smart Brothas reverts back to the exposed street harassment campaign and attempts to revitalize it.
Now, I’ve read enough articles to know that women—in general—have a group mindset that goes along to get along. So, many Black women don’t subscribe to the mainstream media’s slander of Black men. However, the problem is that many, also, don’t loudly denounce the mainstream media’s slander of Black men. Silence in this instance is approval. Moreover, herein, lies the problem. Many times in the past, Black men have loudly spoken up against injustices done to Black people (men, women, and children). However, detractors and agent provocateurs would sew dissension by creating false messages of Black men disregarding the plights of Black women. For example, Black men loudly denounced the murder of Sandra Bland. However, Black feminists turned the murder of Sandra Bland and other Black women into a pissing contest of who’s been hurt the most. (Moreover, if you’re petty enough to wonder this, men have—since we get targeted more heavily.) However, once again, many Black women remained silent here—which once again symbolizes agreement. White silence is, ultimately, what allows White supremacy to propagate. It allows White people to go about their day guilt-free about their ill-gotten gains because they weren’t actively involved in obtaining the spoils. Black female silence against Black men’s opponents works the same way. It allows Black females to achieve a higher lot in life than Black men—while relieving guilt from how that came to be.
Next, is the afore-hyperlinked article from Very Smart Brothas. Many Melanese men took aim at it personally and verbally. I ignored it because, personally, I don’t take “Very Smart Brothas” seriously. I’ve peeped the style of it, and that site is anything but smart. The writer comes off as a whiny sissy looking for White empathy. However, once again, Black female silence was on display here. Some women weren’t silent, preferring to be stand-offish. The reason given was that they aren’t speaking against Damon Young because many male coons still watch NFL (National Football League) which black-balled Colin Kaepernick and degrades women. These women aren’t really concerned about Kaepernick; they just threw him in there to have a stronger argument because the NFL doesn’t degrade women; it degrades men. It has men dress in pink for breast cancer awareness. You don’t see WNBA (Women’s National Basketball Association) players wearing brown in honor of prostate cancer, do you? Finally, this brings me back to my original point, too many knives in the back. Jemele Hill is applauding an agent provocateur like Damon Young. Too often, Black women will side with the dominant society when the dominant society is against Black men. This repetitious silence and the constant mainstream displays of betrayal are the number one reason why there is so much angst in the Black community.
Black women are going to have to cut the umbilical cord publicly and loudly to show that they’re not siding with the dominant society against Black men. If Black women choose not to cut the cord, then we’re going to continue to become disenfranchised until, ultimately, we’re permanently displaced, and conclusively wiped out.
